Administration Support Traineeship

ET Australia are recruiting for a full time Trainee to join the administration team of a financial planning business in Gosford. This is a great opportunity to enter the finance industry at an entry level, learn and develop your career. This employer is seeking a full time Trainee and is willing to consider a university student who they will support through their degree whilst undertaking the traineeship, mentoring them as they work their way up to become an advisor, mortgage broker or paraplanner.

As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn both administrative and customer-based tasks in a supportive office environment, whilst also working towards achievement of a qualification.

This is a junior role, and the Trainee will work under the supervision of more senior members of the team, however, expertise and responsibility are expected to be developed in the following areas:

  • Receiving front desk enquiries from clients
  • Setting up clients in the database, emailing, printing and file note typing
  • Filing, mailing keeping the meeting room tidy for client meetings
  • Other general administrative duties

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

  • Graduated from Year 12
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, and the capacity to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Relevant experience/interest in a customer-facing role (e.g. retail) and/or peer leadership
  • A pleasant and cheerful manner
  • An excellent phone manner and personal presentation
  • Eligibility to participate in a formal traineeship program. This means that you will not have completed a Certificate III qualification or above

This position is based in Gosford and local candidates are preferred.
